    1. Submission of Application to University:
    Foreign student seeking admission in University has to apply for admission direct to the university
    2. Issuance of Admission Confirmation Letter:
    The University will issue letter of confirmation of admission and send a copy of admission letter to HEC
    3. Confirmation & Endorsement by HEC:
    HEC will confirm and endorse admission to Ministry of Interior subject to submission of following documents by student:
    i. HEC "Foreign Student Information Sheet" to be filled in & signed by the applicant (4 sets)
    ii. All academic Certificates / Marks Sheets of School, College and University.(4 sets)
    iii. Recent Photographs (Eight)
    iv. Copy of Passport
    v. Nomination letter by home country carrying photograph
    vi. NOC from Home Embassy at Islamabad for studying in Pakistan.
    4. Application for Visa by Student:
    The Student will approach the Pakistani Embassy in home town for the visa and submit the following documents for onward submission by the Pakistani Embassy in home town to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad for further processing:
    i. Application Form (Student Visa Form)
    ii. Photocopy of passport
    iii. Photograph (08)
    iv. All relevant transcripts, diplomas, and other educational documents
    v. Admission Confirmation letter of university
    vi. NOC issued by HEC
    vii. NOC issued by Embassy Islamabad to study in Pakistan
    viii. Any other document if required by the Pakistan Embassy at country.
    5. Submission of Visa Documents to Ministry of Interior:
    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will forward all documents to Ministry of Interior for security clearance with Copy to Ministry of Education/Health & HEC
    6. Sending Visa Advice to Pakistani Embassy in home town & University:
    The Ministry of Interior as per policy will complete all processes within 4 weeks and sends visa advice to Pakistani Embassy in home town with Copy to HEC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. HEC will send information of visa advice by email to University and Ministry of Education/Health.
    7. Issuance of Visa:
    The visa, once issued, must be renewed annually, adhering to the country's required/valid security clearance process.



    1. Visa Extension:
    The student takes the following documents to the concerned passport office for extension of visa directly or through the Embassy of his/her own country in Pakistan:
    i. Visa Extension Form certified by University
    ii. Bonafied student (certificate) certified by University
    iii. Recommendation letter from University to extend visa or otherwise
    2. Suspension of Program:
    In case the student doesn’t wish to continue or University is not willing to enroll further, following shall be undertaken:
    i. Intimation of student leaving the Institution or not remaining a full-time student will be sent to the HEC
    ii. HEC will forward this information to the Ministry of Interior.

All the candidates who fulfil the given admission criteria are eligible for admissions. Ilma University adheres to the HEC parameters for admitting prospective students.

  • The foreign students inclusive of their parents/guardians must display evidence and proof of their foreign nationality by their passports or any other document of identification.
  • Candidates must have strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Candidates must have completed 13 years of education or A Levels at the time of admission with a minimum Grade C or 65%.
  • Candidates must have studied the core subjects English and Mathematics in their secondary or higher secondary education.
  • Candidates need to have Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies and Urdu as their subjects if they have passed the SSC or HSSC locally.
  • Candidates must meet the program specific requirements if any at the time of admissions which include the studying of the core subjects of that particular program.
  • Candidates will need to take the Ilma Aptitude Test.
  • All foreign students are responsible to acquire IBCC equivalency certificate till such time admission will be provisional.

  • Above charges include the basic program cost only, however value added services, degree and transcript charges are to be paid separately.
  • Semester registration fee of $25 shall be charged for every semester (Exempted for first semester).
  • Security deposit fee of $50 shall be charged for first semester (Refundable After Completion of Program).
  • All tuition fees is payable in equal installments. The number of installments are equal to number of Program Courses.
  • All repeat courses shall be charged on top of the total number of installments sepa44rately.
  • Late fee shall be charged at the rate of $10 per month in case of an outstanding balance after the due date. The late fee is irreversible and must be paid in full at time of payment of dues.
