ILMA Citation Reward Program (CRP) 2020-2021
Publishing scientific research is considered as one of the most significant tasks at ILMA University. While working on a research article, good citation practices can help with attention to detail and the ability to discern patterns and make connections. In addition, the proper attribution of sources entails many details, such as correct page numbers, the spelling of author names, and of course, the accuracy of facts that you are presenting in your own article or other work.
ILMA University encourages that the research articles produced & published by either its faculty members in national or international indexed research journals or published in ILMA University’s published Journals by faculty or external authors should be cited by authors in their latest or ongoing research work which is only possible if the published articles are of high quality.
The Citation Reward Program (CRP) of ILMA University aims at measuring the impact or "quality" of an article by counting the number of times other authors mention it in their work by rewarding the authors of those articles in collaboration with national and multinational institutions.
Reward for a given article that has been cited intensively will be according to following table:
# | No of Citations Per Article | Type of Publishing Journal | Total Reward Amount in USD |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Upto 8 Citations/Article |

Others | 70 | ||

Others | 100 | ||

Others | 150 | ||
4 | Greater than 35 Citations/Article |

Although, there is no single citation analysis tool that collects all publications and their cited references, the H-Index is one specific method utilizing citation analysis to determine an individual’s impact. Further, you can also use Scopus, Web of Science or Google Scholar Citation Account to find out no of citations per article.
Incentives are subject to approval by the BASR and can not be claimed as a right.
*The policy is in effect from 1st July 2020 onwards.
