Admission Aptitude Test


Ilma University conducts an aptitude test as a benchmark for admissions. All applicants need to appear in the aptitude test.

In addition to the aptitude test, success in admissions is based on a number of factors which also carry weight age in the selection criteria.

    Ilma University conducts a standardised online aptitude test. The candidates are assessed in their sound knowledge of the core skills in English, Math, IT and Current Affairs. The candidates are required to perform well in the test components in order to be shortlisted for the next phase.

  • The latest software is used to generate questions meeting and measuring the scholastic levels of candidates. The admissions team administers the test and ensures authenticity, reliability and validity of the test results.

    Following are a few guidelines for the test day:
  • On the test day, reach the test venue at-least half an hour before the test time to register and get acquainted with the place.
  • After reaching the test venue, go to the registration table and complete all formalities.
  • Bring your Ilma University Admit Card and your CNIC/B-Form. Please note: if B-Form is brought, then it is mandatory to bring your school ID card.
  • Candidates applying for Faculty of Management Science and Faculty of Media & Design are NOT allowed to bring calculators.
  • Cell phones need to be switched off and handed it over to the registration team before entering the examination room. Please note: Ilma University Management will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the phone or any other personal belongings submitted.
  • Stationery for the test, including pencils, erasers, sharpeners and scratch papers are provided by Ilma University.
  • Relax! To avoid test anxiety, approach the test with a positive attitude. Negative self-talk can ruin your ability to do well on a test.
  • You will be able to concentrate better if you get plenty of rest and eat properly prior to testing. You should also give yourself enough time to find the testing area, bathrooms, etc., and to gather your thoughts before the test begins.
  • Listen carefully to all pre-test instructions before you start your test.
  • Carefully read all test questions and the instructions presented.
  • Utilize materials given during the test, such as scratch papers.
  • Deal with test anxiety by preparing in advance, taking your time, and pacing yourself throughout the assessment.
  • During testing, read the entire question and all choices before attempting to answer.
  • Ilma University organizes prep sessions for the aptitude test. Here, candidates can receive plenty information and insight about the various components of the actual test. This certainly proves to be much beneficial to the candidates and enables them to gain confidence regarding the test.
